But here I am in sunny Japan, sick again. I woke up with a fever of 37.6 (close to 100, for us American monkeys who refuse for no good reason but pure stupidness to convert to metric once and for all), but still came to school and spread the plague. Now I'm trying to decide whether to go to GaiKomi Club and spread it around some more, or go back home, put in a load of laundry and crawl in the bed. Right at the moment, laundry and bed are winning. I'm wearing a longsleeved shirt because I have nothing else clean, and I'm freezing in the computer lab.
In other news, Friday was that rarest of all things--a good drawing day. I drew a bunch of character sketches for Battle Ravens and (not that I think anyone is reading this, since I have my Japan blog up and it's waaay more active) if you've never heard me mention anything in the works with that name, it's because I told myself I wasn't gonna add it to the pile of projects in-process. In fact, I quite sternly informed myself, back a few years ago when I came up with the idea, that I was not allowed to start working on it til I had gotten more done with Terra Incognita, Black Cat, Bare Bones, and/or The Witch of Wychewood. Which, to be honest, I haven't. Not only that, but I went right ahead and added plotting for the Shinsengumi-focused comic that I'm hoping Rosie will let me talk her into doing together (since the main character would be one of hers, and I'm certainly not gonna poach without her consent).
